Zinfandel's big easy: a flood of outstanding wines flows from the 1997 vintage, as single-vineyard releases multiply

Article Abstract:

The 1997 Zinfandel harvest in California proved to be bountiful for wine makers. The grape crop was large and early, and the wines in general are known for their quality and varied tastes. The wines are expected to have more alcohol content than usual as well. Prices range between $20 and $30 a bottle.
