Austrian wines have always been a rarity in the US because of their limited bottlings in the country. The efforts of some of the industry's most fervent wine enthusiasts has made it possible for Americans to savor Austria's intense reds and refreshing white wines.

Top quality tequila is becoming popular, and several brands are available. Tequila is made from blue agave, and the less expensive brands also contain distilled and fermented sugar syrup. A tasting of several tequilas is discussed.
