The INK Project: Internet Nutrition for Kids
Article Abstract:
Computers have become a standard educational tool from preschool to higher grade levels. An entertaining nutrition scavenger hunt activity, which uses the Internet World Wide Web, has been developed and is called the Internet Nutrition for Kids project. This activity may want to exploit this resource to spark the interest of children in better eating habits. Its specific focus is fruits and vegetables. It aims to increase children's awareness of the significance of eating five servings of fruits and vegetables daily.

"What's in My Food" game with food picture cards
Article Abstract:
A card game is described for people with low literacy skills who may have trouble understanding food labels. It consists of 100 food picture cards with symbols indicating whether the food is low, medium, or high in fat and cholesterol content.
