Ligna numbers grow despite economic dip

Article Abstract:

The numbers of visitors to the Ligna Hannover international wood products machinery exhibition in Hannover, Germany surpassed those reported in 1991. About 100,000 attended the exhibition in 1993 despite the declining world economic conditions. Held every other year, Ligna hosts wood product machinery manufacturers from all over the world. This year the Germans dominated the show with 641 exhibitors, and Italy was in second place with 237.
