A Sampling Of Programs

Article Abstract:

Eight integrated software programs are examined in detail, in a sampling of what is available. The programs looked at are: Symphony by Lotus; Corporate MBA by Context Management Systems; Framework by Ashton Tate; Enable by The Software Group; Smart by Innovative; Aura by BTI Systems; Integrated Seven by Mosaic Software Inc. and Open Access by Software Products International Inc. The cost and address of the manufacturing company is included, as well as the specifics of how each program works, and the options available within each program. How complicated the programs are to use is also included. Some observations include: Open Access is the only program with true three-dimensional graphing ability, Integrated Seven has the best instructions for the lay person, Corporate MBA is perhaps the worst of the bunch, while Framework is perhaps the cleverest integrated program available.

Article Abstract:

INA Schaeffler's hostile bid for fellow German bearing producer FAG Kugelfischer is causing a stir in Germany. Germany does not see many hostile takeovers, and the bid is also unusual because it is a family-owned firm seeking to take over a listed company.
