A woman who moved from Cleveland, OH, to Boston, MA, in her senior year of high school describes the culture shock she experienced at football games at her new school. There were no extravagant halftime shows, no homecoming and no chrysanthemum corsages.

The Yuquis of Bolivia were the last nomadic foragers in the Americas. The pressures of development have been pushing them out of the rainforest since the 1960s. The Yuquis are living in missionary settlements and trying to adapt to modern life.
