The In-Cosmetics exhibition was held at the Dorchester Hotel and guest speaker was Liz Warom, co-managing director of Virgin Vie, Richard Branson's cosmetics venture. A huge area of interest was functional raw materials, and new products included Elfacos CD481 which is a new high molecular weight nonionic surface active cellulose ether. Sea-power 100 is a kelp seaweed based emulsifier, wetting agent and dispersant, and helioxine is a photoprotective anti-radical product for skin and hair extracted from sunflower seed.
