Haitians in the US are associated in the public consciousness with AIDS and impoverished boat people, but in reality they are hard-working, law-abiding and upwardly mobile. A 1950s immigrant describes his own experiences and those of other Haitians.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia or hypertrophy refers to the noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. The problem is characterized by a frequent urge to urinate and is common among men above 60 years of age.
