Article Abstract:

The designing of workstation accommodations by Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center, at the Georgia Institute of Technology, is discussed. The purpose of these accommodations is to reduce the costs involved in obliging with injured and disabled workers.

Successful RTW requires workplace accommodation

Accommodating workers who will be returning to work after a injury, by the organization, will definitely increase productivity and employee morale. Issues that need to be addressed in this regard, and presented by the Job Accommodation Network, are outlined.
