A forum for unity between physicians and chiropractors
Article Abstract:
Dr. Ezriel E. Kornel, MD, is founder and director of the Center for NeuroChiropractic Education. The Center is a forum for physicians and chiropractors to discuss treatments which incorporate both disciplines. The Center offers seminars, a newsletter, and other activities. It has put together a glossary of terms to provide a 'shared vocabulary' for both professions. It hopes to attract the 13,000 physicians and 2,500 chiropractors in the New York City area.

Physicians turn to hospital practice in new 'specialty'
Article Abstract:
Hospitalists are a new medical specialty for physicians that merges general medicine and inpatient care. These doctors take over for primary care physicians when their patients need hospital care. There is concern by some medical leaders about the continuity of care but others believe that this practice allows for more efficient patient care so that primary care physicians can concentrate on their office practice.
