A survey of physicians' attitudes towards blood transfusion in patients undergoing cesarean section

Article Abstract:

A study to evaluate the attitude of anesthesiologists and gynecologists towards the usage of blood transfusion in cesarean sections is conducted on 347 anesthesiologists and 391 gynecologists. Troglitazone attenuates hypoxia-induced injury in cultured term human trophoblasts

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to test the hypothesis that the thiazolidinedione troglitazone, a peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-gamma ligand, attenuates hypoxia-induced trophoblast injury. It was found that troglitazone attenuates the influence of acute hypoxia on cultured term human trophoblasts.

Insulin and fatty acids regulate the expression of the fat droplet-associated protein adipophilin in primary human trophoblasts

Article Abstract:

A study was undertaken to test the hypothesis that insulin and fatty acids regulate adipophilin expression in cultured human trophoblasts. It was concluded that insulin and fatty acids enhance the expression of adipophilin and the formation of fatty acid droplets in term human trophoblasts.
