The preventive polypill - Much promise, insufficient evidence

Article Abstract:

Poor adherence to multidrug regimens is a common difficulty in effective therapy, but some observers believe this problem can be overcome through the 'polypill', which is a single pill that would include several key drugs. Although the concept of the polypill shows much promise, more clinical trials need to be conducted to provide evidence on the cost-effectiveness, safety, and adherence profile of the combination pill.
