It is vital that bodybuilders pay attention to the recovery strategies they use after they have completed their workout. They must address issues including restoration of water and electrolyte balance, restoration of hormone levels and rebuilding of muscle protein. For supporting high-volume training, around 60% of daily calories should come from complex carbohydrates.
