An evaluation of a technique to remove stains from teeth using microabrasion

Article Abstract:

PREMA from Premier Dental Products is an effective tooth-whitener, according to a study of 32 patients. PREMA is a paste containing hydrochloric acid and pumice. Dentists should use a rubber dam when applying the paste to protect the patient's gums and mouth from the acid. PREMA can be effective in removing stains from fluoride, a condition called fluorosis.

The effect of external nasal dilators on blood oxygen levels in dental patients

Article Abstract:

A nasal breathing strip can allow many dental patients to breathe better during a dental procedure, especially patients who habitually breathe through their mouth. The strip may also increase the amount of oxygen in the blood, according to a study of 45 patients. These strips are taped across the nose and help to open the nasal passages.
