Continence

Article Abstract:

Incontinence in elderly and disabled patients is seen as inevitable, so treatment is restricted to the issue of pads and mopping up puddles. Continence advisers who have clinical, budgetary and management skills are in a position to resolve this situation. The assessment of patients can provide a solution and appropriate treatment which in turn will reduce the amount of pads and expensive equipment being issued.
