Advance planning and flexibility help keep an exercise program functioning when traveling. Physical activity should be scheduled into the travel itinerary. The traveler may join a walking tour of the city visited, bicycle though the park, use the hotel gym or perform exercises in the hotel room. Experts advise getting at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day.
