Lisa Wilson, co-owner and chef for the Blue Heron catering service in Oakland, CA, realized she had a serious weight problem when she reached 192 pounds. She adopted the Weight Watchers meal plan and began to reduce food portions and fat content while increasing her consumption of vegetables.

A new beginning

Article Abstract:

David Moore is over 6 feet in height and needed every inch of his body's frame to carry an unbearable 403 pounds. He joined Weight Watchers and learned how to control his love for sweet foods and those with a high fat content. He is now close to his desired weight of 200 pounds.
