Cocaine-associated violence and relationship to route of administration

Article Abstract:

The relationship between cocaine-associated violence and route of administration were analyzed. Results showed that free base or crack smoking and intravenous injection use generally produced the samelevel of violence. However, free base and intravenous injection produced more violence than nasal insufflation. Violence requiring sustained activity such asrape, burglary and armed robbery had no relationship to route of cocaine administration. Gender difference with regard to violence varied according to circumstances and not the route of administration.

I've been seeing a man off and on for a couple of years. I always thought he was distant, not interested totally in me, even though he had times of amost sincerely addressing his love and admiration for me. I recently visited him in AZ., there I found out something was wrong. Twice in social situations, he left me sitting there, while engaging with others. I was left in a horrible situation, having to leave with complete strangers. He bought cocaine was splitting it up with another women we met that night, I don't do it so I was unaware what happened until, she came up to me telling me he was a bad person and I shouldn't have anything to do with him. She was freaked out and kept saying "He said he can't wait to be with me". Is this behavior of someone who is in control and just wants to be with someone else or is this typical. I went home after spending a lot of money sick, confused and feeling completely rejected thinking it was me. Is this a normal behavior? He's totally different when using and blames me for situations and never admitting he put me in dangers way twice when visiting him. He has sinus problems, coughs, constantly stops breathing with snorring only to wake up and fall back to sleep and when he did cocaine he slept so much the next day. Can he be helped or should I just give up? He took that woman's coat that night, said he didn't have it, they both added each other to fb that night, myself not knowing and then when I went home contacted her saying the taxi driver had it, he's stollen before so does he do this for money to buy cocaine?
