Doctors fighting back, taking lawyers to court

Article Abstract:

Physicians are beginning to take attorneys to court over frivolous lawsuits and botched malpractice defenses. Though the legal system favors attorneys, doctors say that bringing suit is their only defense against attorneys who knowingly pursue frivolous actions. These cases are relatively rare because malpractice insurance does not cover the cost of such litigation.
