Emergency eye injuries include, puncturing, chemical burns, sudden painless loss of vision, painful congestion, pain and reduced vision and blunt injuries. Safety eyewear & the older worker

Article Abstract:

Workers who suffer from presbyopia, or loss of visual acuity at short distances, are at risk of eye-related injury. In many cases, they remove protective eyewear in order to use unapproved drugstore readers, which do not protect their eyes properly. The best solution may be plastic magnifying lenses that can convert plano protective eyewear into magnification-reading bifocals.
