Fondaparinux compared with enoxaparin for the prevention of venous thromboembolism after hip-fracture surgery

Article Abstract:

The anticoagulant drug fondaparinux can lower the risk of thromboembolism during hip surgery by over 50% compared to enoxaparin, according to a study of 1711 patients.
