Historic surgery was worth it

Barney Clark has lived 100 days with an artificial heart and although his overall physical condition is weak, William DeVries and other doctors at the University of Utah Medical Center are hoping he will recover sufficiently and be able to leave the hospital.

AMA restructuring, dues increase win delegates' approval

Article Abstract:

American Medical Association (AMA) delegates approved a major restructuring of the AMA organization and staff. A dues increase of $35 was also approved. Major AMA Board and House actions are outlined and discussed.
