Keep it clean in the community

Article Abstract:

A discussion is presented on efforts made to transform infection control in primary care, as the need to get something right in one area first was felt necessary. More of financial incentive is expected to implement the same so that one could react beforehand rather than reacting at a later stage.

Glucose in airways linked to raised risk of MRSA infection

Article Abstract:

Intubated intensive care patients are more likely to develop MRSA infection if they have glucose in their airways. It is found that controlling blood glucose levels in these patients could prevent them from developing a respiratory infection.
