Bodybuilding is one of the best ways to teach children proper health values. They should start off with light weights and high reps until they become stronger to handle heavier poundages. Adults can set good examples for children by making training facilities available and offering advice and encouragement.

Research indicates that excessive, high-intensity exercise can trigger the production of free-radicals that can cause serious physical damage. For optimum fitness, low-intensity aerobic workouts and regular weight training sessions should be interspersed over four days in a week.
