Morton Salt keeps safety in the family

Article Abstract:

United States based Morton Salt Inc company decided to leave no stone unturned regarding the safety of their workers. Management of company is educating the workers as well as their family members especially young generation about the safety precautions to be taken in the workplaces. It also introduced the off-the-job safety program and these ideas are receiving good response from the workers families.

CDC revamp stirs up unease about NIOSH

Article Abstract:

Starting 1 October 2004, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) will have a new structure, which means integrating its existing operations into four co-coordinating units. Many feel that such a move would push National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) down the bureaucracy ladder and would dilute its position in CDC.
