"My kidney saved my sister's life."

Article Abstract:

A woman relates her story of how she sacrificed one of her kidneys to save her dying sister. The doctors diagnosed her sister as having systemic lupus erythematosus. Their blood types were found to be compatible and surgery was done soon after the donor had decided to give it away.

Though the crime took place in 1966, the murder of a sister is still having a great effect on the victim's family. Memories of the murdered sister are shared and the family's thoughts in the succeeding years are discussed.
