NT campaign will support nurses in the fight against MRSA infection

Article Abstract:

Infection control has taken a centre stage in public perception of the health service, with issues of MRSA 'superbugs' and 'dirty hospitals' due to which nurses are being forced, accused of poor and inadequate hygiene practice, and are handled the responsibility for improving infection control. However, with the 'Keep IT Clean' campaign, NT will counteract the misinformation surrounding the cause of poor infection control and will support nurses in their fight to improve infection control and hygiene standards.
