The US District Judge for the District of Colorado denied a hospitalEs request for a temporary restraining order against DenverEs Rocky Mountain News for publishing information contained in a report prepared as part of a paper review investigation. The hospital officials stated that the judge needed to weigh the privacy interest of patients whose medical records are discussed and the statutory confidentiality of peer review.
