Evaluation of the role of pudendal nerve integrity in female sexual function using noninvasive techniques

Article Abstract:

The role of pudendal nerve integrity in sexual function among women is investigated using quantitative sensory testing and a validated questionnaire. The results suggested that sexual dysfunction identified by the PISQ (Pelvic Organ Prolapse/Urinary Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire) and categorized into arousal dysfunction (AD) and desire dysfunction (DD) is associated with pedendal nerve sensory dysfunction.
