Evaluation of an open-access clinic for family health

Article Abstract:

An audit is conducted to analyze the effects of the Sure Start program, wherein a family drop-in-centre was established to provide a wide range of support and educational services to local families having children under the age of five years. The analysis shows that the drop in clinics has proved to be extremely successful, as it provides locally-based and flexible services to the locals, which is needed and appreciated by them then.

A programme of sex and relationship education delivered by a theatre company reveled that theatre production could make a useful contribution. Suggestions to improve the delivery of the programs were also discussed.
