Article Abstract:

Bodybuilders can use stationary or outdoor cycling to build muscle and condition the cardiovascular system. Muscle growth is most apparent at the beginning and as speed is increased. A speed above 15 mph is usually needed to achieve target heart rate.

Shoulder impingement is a pain felt whenever the upper arm bone jams into the shoulder joint and pinches a nerve. To prevent this, bodybuilders should stop at level position whenever conducting front and lateral arm raise exercises.

Muscles in motion: dumbbell overhead press

Article Abstract:

The overhead press is an excellent way of developing the shoulder muscles and surrounding tissues. It is best performed in a standing position with moderately heavy dumbbells.
