Shock value

Article Abstract:

In the event of a heart attack timely help can save the life of the victim. The deployment of Automatic external defibrillators (AED) assumes great importance in those circumstances. OSHA has committed $1 million in its budget for 2004 to study the effectiveness of AEDs in the workplace. Proper training in the use of AEDs is the key to the effective use of the devices in saving lives.
