Stakeholders get serious about safety and health program standard

Article Abstract:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed the Safety and Health Program Standard aimed at involving stakeholders in the implementation of an effective safety and health program. The only constant

Article Abstract:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will have to adjust to workplace changes that will stretch the agency's jurisdiction and, consequently, its resources. For example, the trend towards home offices raises questions as to how OSHA will ensure a safe workplace. To address these issues, some are pushing for the adoption of a Safety and Health Program standard, which will require all employers to have a basic safety and health program.
