Supreme Court lets doctors discuss medical marijuana

Article Abstract:

The Drug Enforcement Agency had ruled in 1996 that doctors would not be able discuss about medical marijuana with patients and would not be able to prescribe it to them. Recently, the U.S Supreme CourtEs denial to hear a case is a victory in keeping the federal government out of the doctor-patient relationship.

Congress gives FDA authority to require drug testing in children

Article Abstract:

Congress passed the Pediatric Research Equity Act that authorizes FDA to allow testing of medications in children. Physicians welcomed the legislation, as data for suitable dosage for children will be available while some termed it misguided citing ethics of recruiting pediatric patients.
