Tapping the source

Article Abstract:

Most drinking water that comes from the tap is relatively safe and passes Environmental Protection Agency standards. However, some contaminated water occasionally gets through public water systems, prompting many to turn to bottled drinking water. Bottled water is heavily regulated by the Food and Drug Administration, but in a recent test, not all brands met industry guidelines. Deciding whether to drink bottled water or tap water is ultimately a personal decision.

On water

Article Abstract:

Water is believed by many to possess both spiritual and physical healing qualities. Many poets and writers have praised water, and the element represents perfect balance because there is the same amount of water on Earth today as there was billions of years ago. It is necessary for life, and ancient myths of mermaids and nymphs enhance its mystery.

Calming your faucet fears

Article Abstract:

Standards for bottled water are determined by the EPA. This kind of drinking water is preferred by many because of its limited contaminants and taste. The latter is affected by the number of minerals in the water. One important mineral is calcium which is found in adequate quantities in certain imported waters.
