Teaching students to question

Article Abstract:

A study was undertaken to teach medical students the strategies of critical questioning to determine the effect on studentsE critical thinking skills, confidence in their ability to ask questions, and interaction between student and instructor. It was found that teaching students to ask critical questions improves critical thinking as measured by the California Critical Thinking Skills Test.

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted with the purpose to explore the relationship between residency program selection factors and placements received. Results showed that the most important factor contributing to receipt of candidates' top placements was the program's abilities to meet their personal career goals.

Pregnancy outcomes before and after a diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted with an aim to evaluate pregnancy outcomes before and after diagnosis of lupus. Poor fetal outcomes are observed in pregnancies that are complicated by lupus, even before clinical appearance of disease that supports a predisease state.
