Bopp 'til you drop

Article Abstract:

New CD-ROM guides to Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris are currently available. Each main menu features twelve options, including a travel planner, nightlife listings, culture, eating and drinking, and points of interest. Most of these options include submenus. A consumer may choose between English, Dutch, German and French for video language, though this only alters the text while the voiceover remains in Dutch. Fold-up city maps with grid references from the database are included. The CDs are aimed at the older consumer and are effective tools for planning a trip.

That dreaded moment

Article Abstract:

Drug administration errors can happen, even in the most strictly regulated hospitals, and sometimes patients can die as a result of being given the wrong dose, or even the wrong drugs. The case of a baby being given a miscalculated dose of morphine and an old lady mistakenly being administered potassium chloride instead of sodium chloride illustrate how easy it is for errors to occur.
