The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sponsored a workshop on 'Applications of Microarrays to Toxicology' in Research Triangle Park, NC, January 7-8, 1999. Topics discussed include array elements, array printing, array hybridization, analysis of DNA microarrays, array applications, and the EPAMAC consortium.

Combined effect of cigarette smoke and mineral fibers on the gene expression of cytokine mRNA
Article Abstract:
Testing on lab rats indicate a relationship between cigarette smoke, mineral fibers, and cytokine mRNA. This research identifies possible parameters of lung remodeling brought about by mineral fibers.
