Vegetarian diets: Consider the benefits

Article Abstract:

The emphasis on plant-based foods is a common factor in all vegetarian diets which are of different types like lacto-ovo vegetarian, lacto-vegetarian, vegan, pesco-vegetarian, pollo-vegetarian and semi-or demi-vegetarian. Lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, less heart disease, a lower risk of some cancers and decreased weight are some of the benefits of a plant-based diet.

Health tips: Benefits of eating breakfast

Article Abstract:

Skipping breakfast to maintain weight control can be counter-productive. A low calorie breakfast that includes whole grains and fiber helps maintain a healthy weight and desirable cholesterol levels. Some healthy breakfast choices from cereal to a vegetable sandwich to a baked potato are suggested.

Vegetarian diets: they're no longer radical, just good for you

Article Abstract:

Vegetarians vary on the strictness of their diet and their reasons for choosing their eating style. The vegetarian lifestyle lowers the risk of some cancers, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure and some other diseases.
