Workforce plans may hit nurses' pay

Article Abstract:

The newly leaked draft of the NHS pay and workforce strategy indicates a further cut in the already low nurses' pay, to meet the future service targets and to avoid any kind of damages caused to the education infrastructure. Although the officials are ready to provide a freeze in redundancies instead of a lower pay, the unions do not want to accept any kind of career development at the expense of a pay cut.
