Article Abstract:

Ex-garment worker Lupe Hernandez from Los Angeles, filed a suit against the clothing chain Forever 21 with 32 other women and men in hopes of changing the way an entire segment of the garment industry does business. They were forced to put in 12-hour days, six days a week, for pay averaging $4 an hour, in factories that produced clothes for Forever 21 but a as per a settlement with the garment manufacturer, they asked for compensation and support for healthy and safety conditions.

A story of death and forgiveness regarding an incident that took place forty years ago, when racist killers took the lives of three civil rights workers in Mississippi is described. Angela Lewis, the daughter of one of the murdered men an African-American for the first time meets and American woman Donna Ladd who grew up with the conspirators.

Kathe Kalmansohn is one of 35 women who are charging Brien Finkel of the Metro Phoenix Women's Center with sexual abuse. Kalmansohn visited the AZ clinic in Mar 2000 and claims she was fondled by Finkel during an abortion procedure.?
