Astrophysicist David Spergel came in news in 1990 with his theory about the shape of universe, and in 2001 Time magazine named him one of the top scientists in the United States. He has received a variety of awards during the course of his career and has published numerous articles in publications like the Astrophysical Journal, Nature, and Physics Letters.

Article Abstract:

Satcher is a doctor and medical researcher who has kept as his focus the needs of the most vulnerable, the poor, minorities, women and children. He has worked in ghetto clinics and hospitals, and was president of Meharry Medical College for 10 years. Satcher's work at the CDC is discussed.
