Havel, Vaclav

Vaclav Havel was a dissident and human rights activist under the communist regime in Czechoslovakia as well as a noted playwright. He became president of the country after the collapse of communism in 1989 and was elected president of the Czech Republic in 1993. His life and career are profiled.
