The physicist and computer-software entrepreneur Stephen Wolfram wrote dozens of articles for prestigious journals on topics related to particle physics, cosmology, mathematics, computation theory, technical computing, and cellular automata. He was among the group of people to win a MacArthur Fellowship in 1981, and remains the youngest person ever to win that honor.
