Every stamp dealer has a missed opportunity

Article Abstract:

Superior Stamp & Coin Co's Winter 1995 auction featured a French stamp from 1849 that once brought more than $27,000 at a similar auction. A dealer describes the bidding for the stamp, which stalled at $5500. He was so shocked at the low price that he could not speak, and missed the chance at a bargain.
