Marshall Islands has 'chronology-theme' sheet
Article Abstract:
On May 2, 1996 the Marshall Islands will issue stamps with designs depicting events in history from prehistory to 1986. Some of the events are, volcanic island formation, storm-carried birds and seeds reach the land, early human arrivals in 1500 BC, and the 1944 liberation from the Japanese by US forces.

Israel hurries design for Rabin memorial stamp
Article Abstract:
A special stamp was issued on Dec 5, 1995 by the Israel Postal Authority 30 days after the assassination of Prime Minister Rabin. This is the first time the postal authority has issued a stamp for a 'Shloshim' or 30th day commemoration. Rabin's career is described.

Micronesia and Marshall Islands honor Yitzhak Rabin

On Nov 30, 1995, just 26 days after his assassination, Yitzhak Rabin was honored with two issues of commemorative postage stamps. The stamps from Micronesia and the Marshall Islands honoring the Israeli leader are described.
