Hypertufa: great looking containers you can make yourself

Article Abstract:

A hypertufa mixture will make attractive outdoor planters. The planters are made by mixing peat and sand into cement and pouring it into makeshift molds made from dishpans or buckets. The containers must sit out in rainy weather for several weeks to leach out the lime in the cement before they are used.
