Pruning a raspberry patch

Article Abstract:

Raspberry is considered to be a very tasty food and it is easy to grow, all it requires is a little fertilizer and periodic pruning with the essential requirements of sunlight and well-drained soil, which is available in nature. The procedure of removing dead canes and growing of new crops is highlighted.

Gardeners face a moral dilemma when they have to protect their plants and vegetables from nearby wildlife. The safest approach is to use fencing. With raccoons, electric fencing is an option because its brief, harmless shock frightens them away. Warning signs for humans are required.

Article Abstract:

A garden can contain self-supporting and self-replicating shrubs which require only a limited degree of weeding and cutting back to prevent overgrowth. These plants, such as Staghorn sumac and Virginia creeper, survive naturally. Tips on pruning are provided.
