Candlewick: an Imperial success

The 'Candlewick' pattern of Imperial Glass Corp. remains one of the most popular crystal patterns today. During its heyday in the mid-1940s, Candlewick became the pattern for all new brides and homemakers while over 250 Candlewick items were available.

The Royal Glass Company

Royal Glass Company was located near the Ohio River in Marietta, Ohio and operated from 1898-1903. The company's works produced plain stemware, occasional pieces such as salt dips, pepper bottles, syrup jugs and bottles for vinegar or oil.
