Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs

Article Abstract:

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art presents 'Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs', through November 15, 2005, covering more than 130 treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun, other Valley of the Kings tombs and additional ancient sites. The exhibition is organized by the National geographic, AEG LIVE Exhibitions and Arts Exhibitions International with cooperation from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities and all the treasures exhibited are between 3,300-3,500 years old.

Atlantique City trolls for the Golden Mermaid

The Miss America Organization is searching for the trophies that were awarded to the pageant's winners in the 1920s. The trophies, which depict a gold-plated mermaid, will be exhibited at the Atlantique City Holiday Fair on Sep. 30 1995 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
